Animal Crossing art artist Eri Suzuki, whose work is featured in the popular video game, will return to the series in 2019.
The series is getting a second anime season in the spring of 2019, the publisher announced in a news release on Wednesday.
The anime will focus on the characters and their relationships with each other.
The story will explore the role of the two sisters, Natsumi and Aoi, and their friendship.
The series will also introduce a new character, Natsu.
The announcement comes a week after the company announced a series of digital and print editions of the anime for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems.
The print editions will be released in Japan on March 20, and the digital versions on March 23.
